Here is a list of possible Poker Hands starting with the best:
1. Royal Flush: Ace, King, Queen, Jack, Ten all the same suit. The best poker hand you can get while playing poker online or in casino, you have a 0.0002% chance of getting this poker hand or 1 in 650,000.
2. Straight Flush: Five cards in sequence of the same suit. Example: 8, 9, 10, J, Q clubs. If two poker players have straight flushes, the poker winner is determined by the highest card of the straight. Aces can be high or low in a straight. There are 40 possible Straight Flushes in poker, 4 of which are Royal Flushes. There is a 0.0012% chance of hitting one that is not a royal flush, or 1 in 72,200.
3. Four of a Kind: Simple enough, four cards with the same rank. Example: 8, 8, 8, 8. This poker hand is ranked by the rank of "Quads". You have a 0.024% chance or 1 in 4200.
4. Full House: Having three of a kind accompanied by one pair. Example: Q, Q, Q, 3, 3. Queens full of 3's. If more than one poker player has a full house, the poker hand with the higher ranked three of a kind takes the pot. 0.144% or 1 in 700
5. Flush: Any ranking cards that are all the same suit. In the case of two or more flushes the poker hand with highest card of the flush wins. 0.197% or 1 in 510
6. Straight: A poker hand that contains five cards in sequential order of rank but not the same suit. Example: 5 clubs, 6 spades, 7 spades, 8 diamonds, 9 clubs. Two straights are ranked by the highest card in the straight. There is a 0.353% chance of hitting this poker hand, or 1 in 250.
7. Three of a Kind: A poker hand with 3 cards of equal rank. Again, between two or more poker players, pot is rewarded by the higher rank of "Trips". Chances are 2.11% or 1 in 48.
8. Two Pair: Just like the name, when you get two different ranked pairs. Example: 2, 2, 10, 10. The higher ranking pair is judged when there are more than one two pair poker hands. 4.75% chance of getting two pairs or 1 in 21.
9. One Pair: Getting two cards of the same rank. Example: K, K. High pair wins in showdown. Chances are 42% or 1 in 2.4.
